ABOUT ABOUT

Are you ready to break free of the mindless patterns that keep you from realizing your full potential?

Join the Calm Clarity November Weekend Workshop at Villanova University to master your mind and be your best self.

After exploring the alignment of spiritual teachings with scientific findings, Due Quach (pronounced Zway Kwok) created the Calm Clarity Leadership Program by integrating neuroscience and spiritual wisdom to rewire the brain for genuine self-actualization.

During this experiential workshop, you examine how the mind works and learn how to direct your own brain development. You gain insight into how your brain activation fluctuates between three primary emotional states: Brain 1.0 (fear and self-preservation), Brain 2.0 (reward-seeking, and instant gratification) and Brain 3.0 (self-mastery, wisdom, and well-being). You also learn and practice effective exercises to activate and strengthen Brain 3.0 so you can be your best self, live in alignment with your core values, and enhance and deepen your relationships.

This training will benefit anyone looking to think clearly and make effective decisions, be more creative, innovative, and collaborative, and build resilience to stress.

Calm Clarity Leadership Program Overview

This is an intensive non-residential two-day course that goes from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. This experiential learning workshop involves interactive exercises, discussions, videos, and meditations.

Please note: Space is limited. Reservations will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dress code: Comfortable: t-shirts, shorts, jeans, sweats, sneakers, or sandals are fine.

Agenda for Day I: Saturday - The Science of Mind Training

09:00 Registration opens

9:30 Kick-off and introductions - everyone introduces themselves and sets an intention for the experience.

10:00 Module 1 – Boosting Brain Functioning:
We share insights from science to introduce the emotional states of the brain (Brain 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0) and their impact on individual and team behaviors. We help you recognize your triggers and understand how you think, feel, and act differently in each state. We also introduce science-based techniques to activate and strengthen the neural circuits of Brain 3.0 that support you to be your best self.

12:30 Lunch Break

1:30 Module 2 – The Voice in Your Head:
We explain how prior conditioning and beliefs shape our stream-of-consciousness inner dialogue, experienced as a “mind-track,” and become aware of how it often sounds like an “Inner Critic” that beats down on us and other people or like an “Inner Sage” coaching and guiding us forward. We then activate Brain 3.0 to turn up the volume of the “Inner Sage” and disarm the “Inner Critic.”

4:00 Debrief and reflections

4:30 Wrap-up and Q&A (close by 5pm)

Agenda for Day II: Sunday - Presence and Positive Relationships
(We recommend all participants complete Modules 1 and 2 before taking Modules 3 and 4)

9:30 Brief Recap of Day I

10:00 Module 3 – Minding Your Autopilot:
We explain how the autopilot helps us to conserve energy by hard-wiring habits into our brains and how mindfulness enables us to observe and re-train the autopilot by bringing more of our habits and patterns into conscious awareness. We then apply mindfulness to activate Brain 3.0 and observe and break habits and patterns that no longer serve us.

12:30 Lunch Break

1:30 Module 4 – Deepening Connection:
We present research on relationships, communication, and empathy as we practice mindful listening and speaking to intentionally build empathic connections, genuinely open our minds and hearts to see and feel another person’s perspective, tune into our inner experiences with compassion, and express ourselves with authenticity

4:00 Debrief and reflections

4:30 Wrap-up and Q&A (close by 5pm)

About Calm Clarity

Calm Clarity is a pioneering social enterprise that uses science to empower people of all backgrounds to overcome adversity and develop a mindset for growth, leadership, and resilience. We are committed to fostering socioeconomic inclusion and addressing unconscious bias, social narratives, and limiting patterns that prevent people from realizing their full potential and becoming the highest expression of who they can be.

Through our social impact initiatives, we make sure that under-served groups facing extreme adversity, as well as elite professionals, have access to world-class leadership training. In addition to enabling senior leaders to improve their performance and impact, the effective tools and leadership development we provide has helped many people in very challenging circumstances break self-limiting patterns arising from toxic stress, trauma, and poverty.

Testimonials:

"I found the Calm Clarity workshop to be very rewarding and really effective in laying out a strong foundational blueprint for integrating both sides of my brain to improve my focus, relax my mind and body, and become better aligned with 'making things happen' in my world. I enthusiastically recommend this class (and the book by the same name) to anyone seeking clarity in their quest for a successful career and life."
      ~Jordan Anderson, Marketing Executive

“I left the workshop a slightly different (and, in my opinion, better) person than when I arrived. I feel the same way about my son…The work that you have done to merge the complex concepts of neuroscience with the often misunderstood and counter to much of our culture notion of mindfulness and meditation and package it in such an easy to understand way is truly impressive and commendable…it is an incredibly valuable investment of time and money, no matter the distance.”
~Chris Noble, Director, Portfolio Development and Pipeline Innovation (Fortune 500 Company)

“My senior executives and I found the Calm Clarity leadership training very inspirational. Due's powerful personal story touched all of us, and her faithfulness to the science (and skipping the “woo”) impressed a very tough crowd (psychologists, behavioral analysts and the past president of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists).”
~Robert Kreider, President and CEO, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health

"I am fully supportive of Calm Clarity and the many great things it can do in many different channels. We believe the construct is easily understandable, practical and intuitive."
~George Brooks, Americas Leader for Ernst & Young People Advisory Services

“Engaging. Inspiring. These are just two words to describe Due Quach’s Calm Clarity Leadership Program... What resonated with each individual was Due’s compelling, personal story, which served to build not only credibility, but also an openness amongst the group. From there, Due taught us the tools that can be used to unlock the brain and build resilience. A number of attendees even declared to have a reduction in stress immediately following the program!”
~Melissa Govette, Vice President, M&T Bank

“Calm Clarity gave our company a common language when talking about maintaining presence in our work and with ourselves and each other...It was definitely worth it!”
     ~John Silkey, Director, Milepost Consulting

“I have personally witnessed the program transform a room full of skeptical individuals into believers. The key, in my view, is layering neuroscience on top of the meditation. By answering the “why”, the program allows people to more easily embrace the meditation exercises, greatly enhancing their effectiveness. “
~Brett Topche, Managing Director, MentorTech Ventures
